Mother's Day

I got to start my Mother's Day off with a nice 3 mile run outside!  :)  Then we all got ready to meet everyone for brunch.  We went to Queen Creek Olive Mill and sat outside in the shade. The food was really good and the girls had fun playing outside.  After we were finished eating, we headed across the street to pick some peaches.  The peaches were DELICIOUS!  I love my girls to pieces and am so blessed to be a mother.

DIY - Photo Shoot

Here are some pictures from the photo shoot Jared and I did with the girls.  We took the pictures at a park right by our house.  The girls did great.  Thanks Daddy for your help entertaining them!  I got a TON of pictures with Addie giving Lainey kisses.  We didn't even have to tell Addie to do it...actually we had to tell her that was ENOUGH kisses!  ;)  I haven't had a chance to play around with any of the pictures in Photoshop.  When I get a free day, I would love to try editing them!  But for now, these pictures are right from my camera.  :)

Water babies

Today was the first time we (I mean the girls and Papa Thom) went swimming in our pool this season.  The water was only 80 degrees...burrr!  The cold water didn't stop the girls!  They had so much fun! I have a feeling we will be living in our pool this summer.  :)

Here are a few pictures from Lainey's swim class.  She loves splashing in the water!

Bubbles!

Good work...now it's time to play!

Addie's 3rd Bday Party

Addie wanted to celebrate her 3rd birthday with a Tangled party.  She told Grammy that she wanted the lanterns in the night sky.  We put decorations up all over the house and in the backyard and made "fruit wands" with star fruit on top.  Everyone came over at 4pm and the girls immediately went to Addie's room to put on Princess gowns.  After everyone ate, the girls wanted to play outside.

It was a warm day, so we filled the play pool so the kids could go swimming.  Rapunzel loves to paint so we thought it would be fun to have all the kids paint their very own canvas.  We mounted canvases on the pool fence so the kids stand while they all painted.  Everyone did a great job and had a lot of fun doing it.

We brought out Addie's Rapunzel cake and after she ate 2 pieces, went inside to open presents.  Addie loved all her gifts and was excited opening them all.  Kayleigh and Taylor stayed late and the three of them danced underneath the lanterns listening to the Tangled CD.  It was a perfect ending to her party.  A big thanks to Grammy for helping with all the decorations!

Addie had such a fun birthday party with her family and friends.  It is hard to believe it has been 3 years!  She is such a fun, energetic, and smart little girl.  She loves going to swim and dance class as well as soccer practice with Daddy.  She still loves Dora and the Disney Princesses and puts on a gown and high heals whenever she gets the chance.  But probably the best thing is that she is an AMAZING big sister.  She is so proud of her little sister and gives her kisses all the time.  It is really sweet watching how Addie is already looking out for Lainey, hopefully it stays that way!

Below are her stats from her 3 year old check up:
Weight - 28 lbs 2 oz (30% percentile)
Height - 38.25 in (75% percentile)
