As we are getting ready to leave the house for swim class
Mommy: "Addie, those knee high socks and gym shoes don't really go with your swim suit."
Addie: "Come on! Yes, they do!"
As we are drive back to Grammy's house (I use my cell phone to navigate me back)
Addie: "Mommy, can I use your phone?"
Mommy: "No, I need it to tell me how to get back to Grammy's house."
Addie: "I know how... You go through the tree branches, past some houses, and then we will be at Grammy's house. Can I have your phone now?!"
Just after she woke up in the morning
Addie: "Dada" walking around the house looking for him
Mommy: "He's not home baby. He had to go to work.
Addie: "Agh! I told him to stay home and play with me!"

Mommy: "Addie, what do you want for dinner?"
Addie: "Mommy beans"
Mommy: trying to think of what she is talking about... "What?"
Addie: "Mommy beans"
Mommy: "Oh, edamame beans?!"
Addie: "yes!"
At dinner...
Mommy: "Addie, would you like some bread?"
Addie: "sure"
I go and get her a roll and put it on her plate
Addie: "This is not bread...it's called a roll!"
After we tucked Addie into bed we hear her on the monitor...
Addie: "I have a cough"
Mommy: I can talk to her through the monitor "Take a drink of water, it's on your nightstand."
Addie: "Oh...yeah."
A few more minutes go by...
Addie: "Monitor, I have a bugger"
Mommy: Again over the monitor "Put it in a kleenex"
Addie: "Oh, right!"
1/12 Helping Mommy make her dinner salad. Mommy pours the salad dressing (trader joe's balsamic vinaigrette) on...
Addie: "What's that?
Mommy: "It's Trader Joe's salad dressing"
Addie: "I don't like Trader Joe's. I like Mr. Newman! Where's Mr. Newman?!"
Mommy: "It's the same kind as Mr. Newman just a different brand"
Addie: "No, I don't like Trader Joe's..."
12/11 As we drive pas the mall
Addie: "Do you know what that is?" As she points to the mall
Mommy: Wondering what Addie was going to say "What Addie?"
Addie: "It's the mall. I need to get a new shirt at the mall."
As I give Addie her jeans to get changed into she takes one look at them and says
Addie: "Mommy, Princesses don't wear jeans"
Mommy: "Sure they do"
Addie: "No they don't. Hang on, I will be right back" then she dashes into her room to find something Pink to wear!
11/11 Watching Addie put on her shoes
Mommy: "Addie, do you want some help? Your shoes are on the wrong feet"
Addie: "No, Mommy. It's ok."
10/11 Mommy made pizza for dinner because it was just going to be her and Addie eating (Daddy had a work dinner to go to)
Addie: "I want more pizza"
Mama: "There's one more piece left...it's all yours"
Addie takes the last piece and turns to me with a sad face and says, "There's no more pizza...what about Dada?"
09/11 Addie playing with a smurf toy she got from a Happy Meal with Grammie
Dada: "What is that?
Addie: "It's a smurf. I got it from that french fry place that Grammie takes me to...you know...Old McDonalds."
07/11 Many times during the day
Mama: "Thank you Addison!"
Addie: "I welcome"
06/11 We just finished dinner...
Dada: "Addie, do you want to go swimming?"
Addie: "Yes! Mama, you stay in and wash dishes!"

Mama: "Addie, do you want to put on your pink dress (hold the princess dress)
Addie: "Mama, that's not a dress...it's a GOWN!"
05/11 It was a few days after we went to the Dbacks game with Papa Mike when we heard Addie on the monitor (after we had tucked her in for the night) cheering "Let's go Diamondbacks, Let's go!" then she would clap and say "Let's go Diamondbacks, Let's go!" clap, clap, clap!
05/11 After we kissed Addie goodnight we hear her singing the itsy bitsy spider after she finishes the song she says "encore! encore!" and then starts singing it again!
05/11 Daddy just got home from work...
Addie: "Mama, I so happy Dada's home!"
Mama: "Me too, Addie!"
04/11 Mommy and Addie driving to storytime
Addie: "Go cars, Go! I try to go to storytime!"
04/11 Addie takes a picture with her new digital camera
Addie: "Say Cheeseburger!" After she takes the picture, she previews it and says "Oh, so cute!"
03/11 As Addie looks around her new room (painted pink) and sees her new big girl bed (with Tinkerbell blanket and sheets)...
Addie: "Wow Babe...I love it!"
02/11 Addie points to her belly button...
Addie: "My belly hurts"
Mommy: "Oh, no. Why does it hurt?"
Addie: "Baby sister in there!"
02/11 Addie lifts up Jared's shirt and points to his belly...
Addie: "Daddy's belly growing"
Daddy: "Why?"
Addie: "Baby sister in there...cover it up Daddy!"
